This new platform allows the blades to run at faster speeds, with both less tension and heat. This allows the Pro Series Clippers to run longer (about 50% more run time), as the battery and motor use less energy to power the blades. It also increases the blade speed from 5,500 strokes per minute to 7,000 strokes per minute.
